Horacio Arias, MD, attended the National University of Colombia School of Medicine in Bogota, Columbia, and received his medical degree in 1954. Upon relocating to the United States, he conducted his residency in psychiatry at Worcester State Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts (1971-1974). In addition, he completed his psychoanalytic training through the Colombian Psychoanalytic Association. Dr. Arias received board certification in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
